Information we collect
The website collects contact information, messages, and appointment requests. Document uploads are no longer accepted through this website. During tax preparation, we may separately collect tax records and other information you provide using the method explained by Faraja.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, evaluate whether we can provide services, prepare and review tax returns, communicate about your return, meet legal and professional obligations, prevent fraud, and protect the security of clients and the business.
How information is shared
Faraja Tax Services does not sell taxpayer information. Information is disclosed only when authorized by you, needed to provide an approved service, or required by law. Tax-return information is not used or disclosed for unrelated purposes without any consent required by federal law.
Secure document submission
Contact Faraja by phone, text, or the website contact form for instructions on how to send tax records. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank information, passwords, or tax documents through ordinary email or the general contact form. Access to submitted information is restricted to authorized business use.
Retention and secure disposal
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide services and meet tax, legal, regulatory, security, and dispute-resolution obligations. Certain preparer records must be retained for periods required by law. Records are reviewed periodically and securely deleted or destroyed when they are no longer required. A deletion request may be limited when retention is legally required.
Your choices
You may ask what contact information we maintain, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw from the intake process before an engagement is accepted, or request deletion of information that is not subject to a legal or business-retention requirement.
Security incidents
If a security incident affects information maintained by Faraja Tax Services, the business will investigate, contain the incident, preserve necessary evidence, and provide notices required by applicable law.
